NEPENTHES Launched a Botanically Inspired Editorial

The floral kaleidoscopic Spring/Summer 2018 editorial by NEPENTHES highlights pieces from collections by Engineered Garments, South2 West8, NEEDLES and more. Styled by Masumi Sakamoto, the thematically appropriate photos are presented in a collage-like format and a distinctly psychedelic fashion. Stylish and technical camo anoraks, mismatched and heavily patterned button-ups & pants, as well as the fluidity of the silk fabrics are all elements that juxtapose the abstract botanical motifs. The stylistic choice highlights the vibrancy of spring and summer, while the clothing designs build on youthful exuberance.

NEPENTHES' 2018 floral kaleidoscopic lookbook is dubbed 'CAMOFLORA' and its purpose seems to be a clashing of patterns and colors—both within the narrative of a fully constructed outfit, as well as outside of it.
