Liftfoil's new floating surfboard is about to make a notoriously difficult sport more accessible and imaginative than ever before.
The brand recently released the designs for a whimsical board that's powered by a large motor, hidden under the surface of the water. The motor provides what the company refers to as "a set of wings" that lift the board out of the water when the rider gains a little bit of speed. The board can move up to 25 miles per hour, providing surfers with the freedom to cruise, glide and carve, all while levitating above the surface.
Although the technology that comprises the board is complex, this floating surfboard is both easy to assemble and user-friendly, providing seasoned and novice surfers with an unforgettable water-based experience.
