You don't need frills to make an object attractive, and this is demonstrated by the beauty in the minimalism of the Fling Lamp. Comprising a pair of perpendicular wooden components, the illuminator mounts against the wall with one and the other points directly out.

Kristina Källström-Gernes' crisp and contemporary wall lamp takes a clean and rigid body of either metal or wood. Embedded LED lights are concealed in the hood of the Fling Lamp, directed downwards to provide bright rays below and to serve as a diffuse source throughout the room. Not completely stark, the light fixture does feature a strip of timber veneer with an elegant wood grain pattern. This beautifully absorbs the beams from above.
