Center-Filled Milkshakes

Following the release of its brand new Sweet & Salty Master Blasts, Sonic is introducing another lineup of frozen treats called the Sonic Blast Flavor Funnels. Following in the footsteps of brands such as Dairy Queen and Ben & Jerry's, the new milkshake creations feature a flavorful surprise in the center of each shake.

While the release of the new Sonic Blast Flavor Funnels has not been officially confirmed by the company, the chilly treats are believed to consist of real ice cream mixed with crunchy toppings and finished with a dollop of whipped cream. However, what sets the new milkshakes apart from the chain's existing Blasts is the addition of a cylindrical void in the center filled with a flavorful sauce such as chocolate or caramel. The surprise addition is meant to put a tasty spin on the conventional ice cream treat.
