The Grey Goose Brand Ambassador Unveils Exclusive 2015 TIFF Cocktails

Earlier this week, Trend Hunter caught up with Grey Goose Global Ambassador Joe McCanta at the Thompson Toronto Hotel for an exclusive look at this year's TIFF cocktail selection. The film festival drink menu combines fresh fruity flavors with warm aromatic accents.

McCanta stepped behind the hotel's beautiful bar to recreate 'The Opening Scene' cocktail. This particular aperitif-inspired beverage combines sweet lychee, fresh acidic grape fruit juice and the new-to-Canada Grey Goose Le Citron. The celebrity-worthy drink is garnished with fresh basil that provides an elegantly aromatic essence. The key to elevating the basil's flavor is to place the garnish in the palm of your hand and lightly clap -- like you would during a theater production.

The Opening Scene, along with the rest of Grey Goose's TIFF cocktails menu will be making grand appearances at various parties and events throughout Toronto's iconic film festival.
