These images by photographer Fawn DeViney speak to the sheer talent of the artist. Based in both Boston and Phoenix, DeViney keeps her subjects varied as she takes snapshots of fashionable women, cheeses, hair braids and breads, making for a rather eclectic portfolio.

Unifying much of DeViney's work is its hands on appeal. Much like an artisan, she hones in on activities that require skilled labor. Whether focusing on cooking or jewelry making, there is a certain degree of expertise that is being applied, making for pictures that are full of life and movement.

According to DeViney, if she were not a photographer she would either be a florist or a baker. Her interests are manifestly apparent via her captures of baguettes and branches.
