Collaborative Cheese Donuts

Japan's Mister Donut Created a Cheese-Themed Fast Food Donut Range

Japan's Mister Donut collaborated with Pablo, a chain that makes sweet cheese tarts, to introduce a fast food donut and cheese tart range that gives consumers the chance to indulge in a "rare cheese" taste.

In all, there are six new menu items that are available through Mister Donut locations across the country, including Pablo’s own interpretation of Mister Donut’s old-fashioned and ring donuts, as well as options like the strawberry Pon de Rare Cheese and the apricot cheese tart, which are said to offer the perfect balance between cheese and fruit flavors.

As an alternative to sweet donuts, consumers have become interested in everything from donut-based sandwiches to savory baked goods that offer a welcome alternative to sugar-laden treats.
