The 'Fabulous Beasts' Game Combines Jenga and Online World Building

Sensible Object studio created a game called ‘Fabulous Beasts,’ which combines physical interaction with an online interface. The game is essentially an app-connected extension of Jenga, that builds virtual world while stacking and destroying block-made towers in the real world.

Fabulous Beats brings the desirable element of online interaction as well. Just like Jenga, the uniquely shaped blocks are stacked with careful precision and accuracy. Each piece represents a new element that effects the world being created through the app. The players are able to play Jenga in front of a screen while seeing the virtual world they're building in real time.

Sensible Object hoped to create a game the encouraged socializing while simultaneously allowing children to explore technology. Children and adults alike are able to make their own virtual worlds while they participate in an interactive board game.
