Layer Cake-Topped Milkshakes

Johnny Rockets Marks Its 33rd Birthday with the Extreme Cake Shake

As the 'freakshake' obsession continues to dominate, Johnny Rockets is getting in on the craze with its new Extreme Cake Shake.

In honor of Johnny Rockets' 33rd birthday, which takes place on June 6th, the chain has whipped up the Extreme Cake Shake. The hybrid shake combines both drink and dessert by taking a signature Johnny Rockets' shake and topping it with a piece of cake. Of course, this isn't any ordinary cake. Johnny Rockets is serving up a slice of 3-layer vanilla cake topped with whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles. Even the glass of the drink itself is coated in vanilla frosting, M&Ms, and more rainbow sprinkles. The result is a decadent milkshake that may require some deconstruction in order to consume.
