The Sam's Club Antimicrobial Diamond Scraper Entrance Mat is a new product within the company's in-house Member's Mark brand collection to offer consumers a functional yet recycled decor option.
The mat is crafted using recycled crumb rubber sourced from the brand's auto centers, which have been collected by a third-party to be shredded and formed into the mats. The product is presently available online and at many of the brand's physical locations with a countrywide launch taking place by the end of July.
Senior Merchant Mike McCarthy spoke on the Sam's Club Antimicrobial Diamond Scraper Entrance Mat saying, "Ninety-six percent of the surface of the mat is made with material from recycled PET bottles, which results in higher water absorption than our previous mat. And 97% of the base of the mat is constructed with recycled crumb rubber from tires.”
