The Empyrean Club, a new cultural venue in Brooklyn set to launch in 2027, has announced its inaugural production will be an exclusive New York City staging of the musical American Psycho. This move will serve to establish a bold blueprint for a hybrid space that seamlessly integrates theatre, nightlife, dining, and social club elements under one stunning post-modern roof.

Located in the Bushwick neighbourhood, The Empyrean Club is a purpose-built venue, which will accommodate nearly 600 guests across a 299-seat mainstage theatre and flowing social spaces including cocktail areas, a sushi omakase counter, dancing areas, conversation pits, and late-night lounges.

The production of American Psycho, directed by founding artistic director Max Hunter, features a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik, and choreography by Baye & Asa.
