The Mercedes Generation EQ Merges EV Technology with SUV Style

The Mercedes Generation EQ is an electric concept car that looks to provide a glimpse into how the SUV market could evolve in the future when demand remains but efficiency is required. The Mercedes Generation EQ features 402 horsepower and is planned by the luxury automotive brand to be put into production starting in 2019.

Packed with the same high-end safety features as the brand's other models, the Mercedes Generation EQ features 500km of driving range to help calm range anxiety. The electric concept car features all-wheel drive that's powered by the two electric motors within.

The Mercedes Generation EQ is named as such to mean "Electric Intelligence" and to be a derivative of the Mercedes-Benz brand values including "Emotion and Intelligence."
