The subtitles, which can be accessed through the Efteling app and synchronized with the spoken narration, remove barriers to participation and allow visitors to follow along with stories they might otherwise miss.
The development of Efteling's accessibility features was informed by collaboration with accessibility organizations like Dutch company Bartiméus and input from individuals with lived experience.
