Eddy Prabandono Creates an Oversized Sculpture of His Daughter

While Father's Day may have been a wee while ago, fathers like Eddy Prabandono like to show their children they care all year round. This devoted dad decided to create an enormous sculpture of his beloved daughter Luz. While Prabandono is undoubtedly a highly accomplished and talented Indonesian sculptor, his 'Luz Series' was quite the undertaking.

Eddy Prabandono used a whopping 25 tons of clay to construct this 13ft x 13ft ode to his daughter, which will be a part of the Art Jog 2011 exhibition in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, until the end of July. This exhibit created by Eddy Prabandono would certainly be a site to see in person, and one day, the pictures of it are going to hold a very dear place in his daughter Luz's heart.
