Australia's Todae, which retails eco products to consumers, is now offering "environmental assessments" for small to medium sized businesses. The assessments, or audits, are designed to offer businesses practical options for reducing their impact on the world by analyzing energy and water efficiency and reducing potentially toxic materials in the workplace. Is it only a matter of time before home assessments are offered as well?
Implications - With eco-conscious consumers on the rise, companies are striving to alter their practices to include greener methods. These companies require knowledge on how they can incorporate eco-friendly solutions into their production and advertising methods. Consulting companies can help these companies target green demographics by expanding their eco-knowledge.
