This creative ad for Earth Hour 2016 begins in the year 2090, as an elderly woman reminisces about the environmental progress that has taken place over her lifetime.
Since the ad begins in 2090, the woman shares memories about the first time she saw planet Earth. She proceeds to dictate that in 2090 the world celebrated the avoidance of a detrimental temperature increase, while in 2060 the world became carbon-neutral. Although these events haven't happened yet, this ad sets a precedent for necessary environmental goals.
This ad hopes to encourage a global movement that urges citizens to turn off their lights during Earth Hour 2016, which will take place on March 19 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. The ad ends with the phrase "your action today can change our tomorrow."
