The old metal cask chained to a wooden stake is the popular choice for seaside waste disposal, but in no way does it respond to the ever-changing use of the populated coastal setting. The Dustbin 4 Beach was designed with a recognition that crowds come, go and move as quickly and frequently as the tides, making it a much more effective object to discourage unnecessary littering.
It achieves this because it is portable, and can be moved to the optimal position adjacent to larger groups of sunbathers, swimmers and Sunday picnickers. Large curving keels at the base of each Dustbin 4 Beach allow them to be wedged securely into the sand. Additionally, the three colorful trash cans are distinguished to indicate their priorities for different waste materials.
