The personal automobile is being outfitted with more technology features than ever, which is seeing new functionalities like the Sygic 'Driving Assistant' come about to offer a new way to enhance the driving experience.
Working on the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system, the functionality would allow drivers to find nearby points of interest, hotels, restaurants and much more by simply asking the assistant. This would enable drivers to find what they're looking for without having to take their eyes off the road to manually interact with the infotainment display.
The Sygic 'Driving Assistant' speaks to the growing popularity of voice assistant technology as consumers become more comfortable with mainstream options like Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant. The new feature is set to start rolling out onto systems in the near future.
