BMW and Amazon Partnered to Bring Alexa+ to Vehicles

BMW and Amazon have announced an extension of their partnership that will see the latter brand bringing the Alexa+ voice assistant functionality to the former brand's vehicles. The partnership expansion will see drivers able to enjoy a natural language experience for in-vehicle interactions, while also leveraging the complex instructions that the voice assistant can now handle. Alexa+ will be able to access more than 70 large language models (LLMs) and will continue conversations that were started inside the home through an Amazon device.

The expansion of the BMW and Amazon partnership will see Alexa+ showing up in the automotive brand's vehicles soon, but both brands have yet to announce which models to expect or when the formal launch will take place.
