In an effort to promote Earth Hour 2015, Pentagram, WWF and Do the Green Thing have commissioned designers and artists to create eco-friendly items using waste and everyday objects.
The collection is titled 'Everday Things,' and features creations like a functioning record player made of paper, and a string of colorful lights made from waste. In addition to raising awareness about Earth Hour, the objective of the Everyday Things series is to promote recycling and sustainable lifestyles. The collection is accompanied by a contest that challenges 16 to 25-year-olds to design their own light switch cover encouraging sustainability.
