Hawaiian Airlines has teamed up with the Walt Disney Studios to unveil a brand new trio of Disney princess-themed aircraft whose liveries are inspired by the upcoming animated adventure movie Moana, which follows the adventures of a Polynesian princess of the same name.
In addition to featuring exterior designs inspired by Moana as well as three other key characters from the film, these aircraft also feature character-inspired artwork and decorations inside the aircraft cabin. What's more, Hawaiian Airlines' website is also running a caption contest that allows participants to potentially win prizes ranging from tickets to the film's premiere in Hollywood, California to airline miles.
This Disney princess-themed aircraft design and contest is a great example of an airline looking to tackle the image of airline travel being hassle by instead making it a fun and entertaining experience dotted with pop culture references.
