Deliveroo Editions is one food delivery service's solution to expanding a restaurant's reach.
Due to location restrictions, popular restaurants can't deliver food to every door step in a city. In an effort to combat this, Deliveroo introduced Deliveroo Editions -- a custom-built facility which can house up to 10 different restaurant's kitchens in one space. These facilities create food for takeout but enable a company to offer their menus to a portion of the city who may not be able to access it. In an interview with WIRED, Deliveroo's CEO William Shu explains that the new service is a "delivery-kitchen concept."
The brand expects Deliveroo Editions to expand throughout London, with an estimated 30 locations in the city by the end of the year.
