Decorative Landscape Furniture

This Furniture Collection Features Picturesque Landscape Paintings

Inspired by the idea of blending old with new, the 'NARKi' furniture collection includes decorative landscape paintings inspired by classical art forms.

Drawing inspiration from artistic periods of the 17th and 18th century, this decorative furniture collection is made up of a personal dressing table, a coffee table and a sitting stool. The melding of modern furniture design with decorative landscape paintings makes sense given the background of the project's two collaborators -- Roman Kvita, who is from the UMPRUM product design program in Prague and Dominik Běhal, who studies at the Academy of Fine Arts.

The furniture in the collection itself is made from solid ash wood, acting as the canvas for the paintings. Moreover, each piece also contains flourishes of brushed stainless steel for the legs.
