Danny Lane is a London-based designer that has a love affair with glass. The first picture in the above gallery is one of Danny Lane’s creations that is made up of fractured and stacked glass. Lane states he likes to “exploit the strength of glass under compression and combine feats of design and engineering to produce work breathtaking in its apparent simplicity.”

His “Stacking Chair” is certainly a modern art feat, as is his marvelous Burr Elm table, which is also pictured in the gallery above.
