Robert Sukrachand introduced the Cyc Mirror inspired by cyclorama, which is the signature curved backdrop that is often used in photography. The photography inspiration is translated through the curvaceous form that the mirror takes on on the edges -- the ends are curled upwards and are constructed from an acid etched glass material. In order to bend the glass piece so smoothly, the design studio tapped Flickinger Glassworks studio—one of the very few shops that offer custom glass bending.
Robert Sukrachand expresses that the Cyc Mirror plays with the concept that it "flows into infinity" with its swooping curved shape. The mirror can be placed both horizontally or vertically, curving off either the floor like a cyclorama, or the sides.
