The Cubetto playset is a tech toy that's designed to teach kids about the logic behind programming. Although the skills learned with Cubetto will eventually prepare kids to be computer geniuses, the playset is quite low-tech and involves tangible blocks and a set of IKEA-like instructions printed on paper. Rather than relying on an app or a screen to show lines of code, the real fun comes with the Cubetto robot, which can be programmed to move in different directions, based on the way the colorful blocks are arranged on the peg board.
Cubetto is a clever way to teach programming with a hands-on activity, making it easy for kids (and even adults) to see and understand the way each part contributes to the whole.
