AI-Powered Weight Loss Assistants

CSIRO Launched 'Hope' for Health-Conscious Australians

'CSIRO,' the scientific research-focused agency under the Australian government, has debuted 'CSIRO Hope,' a new AI-powered weight loss assistant. Hope is the product of mass research into members of CSIRO's 'Total Wellbeing Diet' program. This research was used to develop an AI-powered weight loss program for members to participate in. Hope allows users to set reasonable goals based on their individual health metrics. After setting goals, the AI provides recommendations and feedback at set time intervals, which ensures the participant stays on track.

Hope provides recommendations on exercise, food intake management, and general lifestyle practices that it believes are best suited for each user. In CSIRO's testing phase, the research division found that its most successful participants lost roughly 8.1% of their body weight over the 12-week program. On top of this, even some of the less diligent participants saw a reduction in 7.5% of their body weight, meaning the AI-powered weight loss assistant is quite effective.
