Plant-Based Crumbed Chicken

v2food Expands Portfolio to Include New Vegan-Friendly Chicken Line

v2food, an Australian food manufacturer specializing in plant-based alternatives, has launched a new line of plant-based crumbed chicken products, which will be offered in three varieties: Nuggets, Tenders, and Schnitzel.

The new line represents v2food's third meatless protein innovation, which arrives following the company's successful launch of v2mince, v2burger, and v2sausage. For its new plant-based chicken line the company teamed up with CSIRO food scientists to develop a recipe that "perfectly" mimics the taste and texture of real chicken.

“Recent data tells us that 63 percent of Aussies are now open to buying plant-based meat as long as it tastes good. In order to make a real difference to our planet, we need to create delicious, sustainable alternatives of the foods we love to make the switch easy and tasty for meat lovers. We are thrilled to unveil our delicious plant-based chicken products for everyone to enjoy," said v2food CEO and founder Nick Hazell.
