Stuffed Breakfast Croissants

IHOP's Criss-Croissants are Available in Sweet and Savory Flavors

In an effort to continue expanding its breakfast offerings, IHOP recently brought back its popular Criss-Croissants. Available in both sweet and savory varieties, the hybrid breakfast treats allow consumers to enjoy the flakiness of a croissant along with their favorite breakfast toppings.

The Criss-Croissants are a hybrid item that consists of 27 layers of croissant pastry dough that has been grilled with a waffle iron. The doughy exterior is then stuffed with different combinations of sweet or savory toppings. For those craving something sweet, the chain offers a Salted Caramel and Banana option, as well as a Strawberries and Sweet Cream Cheese option. On the other hand, veggie lovers are sure to enjoy the Spinach & Roasted Red Pepper version of the dish.

The new Criss-Croissants capitalize on the growing demand for hybrid dishes that combine already popular ingredients.
