Etsy store Larripin Labs is akin to a mad cross-stitch laboratory. For reasons unknown they sell cross-stitch patterns of famous physicists. Those honored include Richard Feynman, who's best known for discovering "the path integral formation of quantum mechanics."

I guess these finished pieces would make a cute present if you had an uber-geeky partner. An astronaut series is soon to be added.

Implications - The traditional methods of creating handcrafts aren't just for senior citizens anymore. The creative crowd are taking advantage of old techniques to make room for new works with a pop cultural aesthetic that everyone can enjoy. Consumers will enjoy contemporary works with a traditional edge that brands have incorporated into many of their designs.
