The new McDonald's Crab Sandwich is being test marketed in San Francisco as an alternative sandwich that will offer those who are looking for a beef and/or chicken-free option a tasty option.
The sandwich consists of snow crab that has been seasoned with mayonnaise and mixed with diced celery to create a good texture and consistency. This is then placed onto a sourdough bun that has been brushed with herb butter and topped with Romaine lettuce and sliced tomatoes. The sandwich offers a great alternative for those who are looking to try something different aside from burgers for health or taste preference reasons when visiting the QSR restaurant.
The McDonald's Crab Sandwich was developed in partnership with chef Ryan Scott who was previously a contestant on the television competition show Top Chef.
