Starbucks might be most well-known for its café beverages and treats, but the eatery is exploring online media with its new web content series that aims to offer podcasts and videos that will offset the current plague of negative attention from the political elections. The series will be launched for a ten week period and will feature literary content that users can access via the café's app.
With the ongoing presidential elections in the U.S. the media has been an ongoing space for disagreement. Starbucks' venture into digital content hopes to add much more inspirational and creativity stimulating content with webcasts, videos and texts for users to browse. The platform will be accessible via the Starbucks app and will allow Starbucks to offer a voice on social issues.
