Joseph Carnevale, a North Carolina State University student, was recently charged for creating a monster out of construction site materials.
The hilarious creation was not funny to North Carolina officials, who charged Joseph Carnevale with larceny (theft).
Although the university student probably thought it was a good joke at the time, he doesn't look too pleased in his mugshot!
Implications - Upcycling has become a new way to transform old random objects into wicked new creations. Transforming seemingly ordinary items into extraordinary artworks pushes the mind of the creator and opens the eyes of the onlooking audience to the hidden masterpieces that lie in wait amongst the clutter in the world.
