I'm a small town girl, with dreams of living the big city life.

Recently a graduate from McGill University in East Asian Studies, I have been given the most exciting internship opportunity, working as an editor for Trend Hunter this summer.

Bring on the bright lights and the city buzz, Toronto!

What is unique that's not in your bio?
I love meeting new people and making connections. Life is too short to stay in a little bubble. I also enjoy curling up with a good book when it's raining outside. There's something calming about the sound of raindrops hitting the window.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
I would say, finishing university in time and being accepted to work for Trend Hunter this summer!
How do you define cool?
Cool is anything that you feel like you need to share with other people.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
This might sound a little funny, but my parents get a lot of forwards from their friend in Australia. He sometimes sends the most outrageous new innovations that are perfect to write about on Trend Hunter.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The fact that people can choose to write about what they think constitutes as a trend. We learn so much about what is popular around the world.
What is your favorite trend?
It's impossible to single out just one...my favourite trends change on a daily basis.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Make it your own!
How do you reset to be creative?
When I think too hard about something or have a mind block, I take a couple minutes and stare out a window to slow down what's running through my head.
What inspires or excites you?
Having recently graduated from university, I have no idea what the future holds for me. Although it's slightly scary not knowing, it's also thrilling at the same time. I can't wait to find out what this life has planned for me!
Predict something awesome for 2020?
I will have a zillion trends.
