The Concretus Chair is Unusually Comfortable Despite Materials Used

Although the idea of concrete and pipes doesn't inspire confidence in comfort, the Concretus Chair may be the unique exception. Created out of such industrial materials, it was designed in such a way as to promote ease and, yes, comfort.

Created by Singapore designer Fung Kwok Pan, the Concretus Chair features small concrete tiles that are held together by steel wires. This creates a flexible seat that conforms to one's body rather than against it.
