British defence technology company BAE Systems has unveiled a combat vehicle that could form the basis of its successor the famous Bradley Fighting Vehicle, which has been in service for over three decades and might be in need of a technological upgrade.

This futuristic iteration of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle features an overhauled interior that is designed to make military operations more streamlined, with designated ammunition and fuel compartments making vehicle tasks safer and more efficient, while boosted underbelly armor offers improved safety against IEDs or improvised explosive devices. This combat vehicle also places a higher priority on electrical power, which is increasingly used to charge different combat-related devices.

This combat vehicle concept is clearly designed bearing in mind the budgetary constraints of contemporary armed forces, and it ably does this by finding a balance between tried-and-tested technologies and more futuristic ones.
