Designed by General Assembly, this colorful contemporary apartment interior is located in Brooklyn, New York. The clients have a background in jewelry making and as a result, the local studio takes that into consideration. The living quarters has an impeccably detail-driven layout that subtly references handcrafted jewelry through small material hits. The "delicate metalwork," the brass accents, as well as some custom furniture pieces, are an example of this.
The colorful contemporary apartment by General Assembly also catches the eye through red-painted walls and dispersed orange rhombus tiles. These chromatic accents definitely compliment the eclectic presence of materials. In a sense, General Assembly created a home that subtly and surely embraces a very artisanal aesthetic.
