One of the newest products from DAVIDsTEA is a non-caffeinated color-changing tea that certainly deserves to be called 'Magic Potion.'
The loose leaf tea is made with a range of refreshing ingredients like berries, apples, rosehips and natural kiwi, as well as butterfly pea flowers, which are known for their incredible blue coloring. When a splash of lemon juice is added to the Magic Potion tea, the beverage's pH levels are disrupted, the acidity of the citrus fruit causes a color change from pink to blue. As such, DAVIDsTEA calls likens its Magic Potion to "a mood ring in your mug."
Butterfly pea flower has been used for centuries across Asia for coloring food and beverages. Now, it is used as a dazzling ingredient in everything from gin spirits to jam spreads.
