Famed coffee roaster Stumptown recently teamed up with Tillamook to produce a cold brew ice cream. With warmer days on the horizon, this sweet dessert provides a delicious way to indulge in two chilly treats.
The two Oregon-based businesses partnered to design a frozen treat that combines the delicious taste of cold brew coffee with the creamy texture of ice cream. To make the ice cream, Stumptown first brews coffee without heat for over 12 hours until it reaches the perfect smooth and sweet flavor. The coffee is then combined with hormone-free milk to create a rich and creamy ice cream. Unlike other coffee-flavored desserts on the market, the new cold brew ice cream will only contain 6 ingredients in total.
The hybrid dessert demonstrates the growing popularity of cold brew, as well as the demand for coffee-flavored food products.
