The Coke Happiness Machine commercial will put a smile on every viewers face, just as it put a smile on the face of commuters in Sweden.
Coke employees installed a special Coca Cola machine into a bus shelter in Uppsala, Sweden where the sun is down for most of the day and even the early afternoon is dark. Whenever one or more people would enter the bus shelter, the Coke machine would turn itself on and light up the shelter. If the customer bought a Coke from the machine, than a background projection would be activated and fill the bus shelter with images of warm summer days.
The Coke Happiness Machine ad is warm and uplifting, giving both the people in the bus shelter and viewers watching at home some hope and happiness a midst bleak and cold winters.
