The Coca-Cola packaging strategy truly knows no bounds. The company has proven itself to be exceptionally engaging, especially during the holidays.

In Japan, the popular beverage supplier is rolling out two festive bottle designs — one to celebrate Christmas and one for the New Year. The former entertains a playful Coca-Cola packaging aesthetic that has been utilized previously. The 500 ml 'Original,' 'Zero,' and 'Zero Caffeine' beverages come with a special tab that, when pulled, turns the wrapper into a cheerful bow. There are 12 distinct designs of this.

For the New Year, the Coca-Cola packaging design features plum and cherry blossoms, as well as a color scheme that is directly informed by the festivities in Japan. In addition, the 250 ml aluminum bottles will feature a wrapper with a boar illustration — the animal for 2019.
