Carolina-based photographer Clint Davis has an endearing client reach-out strategy that definitely sets him apart from other creatives in the industry. In 2018, he is incorporating a toy-inspired approach to his annual promo mailers.

Clint Davis makes use of the "the budget-friendly LEGO ‘Creator Red Racer 31055 Building Kit’" that ties perfectly into his area of expertise — automobiles. The photographer sends out a small client reach-out box to prospects and people who he is currently doing business with. Each promo mailer contains a LEGO figurine that ties into the personality of the receiver, a hand-written note, some rubber stamps and a "LEGO-esque Fold Factory 5×7" fold-out print."

Clint Davis sends about 70 client reach-outs annually. Although this costs him time, effort and money, the creative is able to make a lasting impression on his contractors and the promo mailers are "well worth the time and investment" according to Davis.
