Cutting vegetables and fruit could become a whole lot easier if the Chopp Cutting Board ever goes from concept to reality. Chopp is an innovative cutting board designed to do more than provide a stable surface on which to cut fruits and veggies.

Alastair Crompton is the designer behind the Chopp Cutting Board. This kitchen aid was inspired by the Wii Fit Balance Board of all things and was designed for the 2011 James Dyson Award.

The Chopp Cutting Board consists of two levels, the top cutting board and a hollow area underneath that holds the chopped veggies. The top of the board features two removable plates, with one functioning as a holding area for grated cheese (cheese grater included). There is also a section of Chopp with ridges designed to make cutting fruits such as cucumbers and zucchini easier.
