Starbucks is expanding its at-home holiday range with Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Flavored Coffee, a fresh Starbucks by Nespresso addition for Vertuo machines. It gives Nespresso Vertuo owners a way to brew the brand's chocolate-mint winter drink at home instead of making a café run.
Built around chocolate and peppermint notes, the coffee turns the café favorite into a straightforward morning pod. Starbucks is also returning Peppermint Mocha Inspired Dairy Creamer, which lets drinkers push the flavor closer to a fuller mocha mug.
The rollout reaches retailers around the country, with Walmart and Target among them, until stock runs out. Beginning Nov. 2, Starbucks Rewards members can scan QR codes on select holiday creamers and bottled drinks for prize entries, with a year of free Starbucks among them. Linking the flavor to Vertuo hardware and grocery shelves folds a seasonal café order into a home routine.
