With two all-new Chinese New Year gift baskets, Fortnum & Mason is introducing its first-ever marketing campaign for the celebration.
The Fu Dai Hamper gets its name from the term for "fortune bag" and comes filled with a variety of goods with a British luxury twist. The hamper, targeted towards Chinese students and young professionals, is offered in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, with the latter eligible for shipping to Asia. Inside the Fu Dai Hamper, consumers will find an assortment of snacks and refreshments like tea, biscuits, chocolate and honey, as well as champagne in the case of the option that contains alcohol.
As well as launching these festive gift baskets, Fortnum & Mason also hosted an afternoon tea event on Chinese New Year's Eve to kick off 2019 as the Year of the Pig.
