The chestnut praline latte from Starbucks is about to give the pumpkin spice latte a run for its money. The new coffee flavor is the newest holiday themed beverage from the coffee chain in five years. It will debut on their seasonal menu on November 14, 2014 joining other longtime favorites such as the peppermint mocha. The chestnut praline latte was introduced in select stores last year to much success.
The chestnut flavored drink contains a shot of chestnut-praline syrup. It also comes with a whipped cream dollop and spiced praline crumbles. This is not the first time Starbucks used chestnut in their beverages. In their China Asia Pacific locations, a chestnut macchiato is part of the menu in the autumn season.
