Architects for Animals is of similar aims, recently holding events in New York City and Los Angeles where it revealed innovative pet housing designs. The awareness-raising initiative asks architects to participate by designing, building and donating a cat shelter. Not only are needy felines helped, but in the process designers also get to showcase their own creativity.
At a recent event put on by Architects for Animals benefiting FixNation, cat-loving architect firms got involved including Standard Architecture | Design, DSH Architecture and Abramson Teiger Architects.
