With the help of Cole+McVoy ad agency, Caribou Coffee used pinned images from fans to promote its new Real Inspiration Blend variety. The ginormous eye-catching Pinterest pin board was built and displayed at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minneapolis.
The giant Pinterest board is extremely impressive. The board features two large screens with a collage of beautiful photos pinned by fans on Pinterest. The images mostly consist of Caribou Coffee cups, ceramic glasses and cute pictures of customers sipping on Caribou brews. The Caribou Coffee Pinterest board consists of fan Instagram and Twitter images found through the hashtag #CaribouInspires. The concept brought enormous media and consumer attention and was a brilliant PR move that worked in Caribou Coffee’s favor.
