While pods are undoubtedly a convenient and quick way to brew up a coffee, Capsulier is a new coffee machine that gives consumers more control over the process. Rather than confining people to the taste profiles in a given pod, the machine has reusable capsules with which consumers can fill their own fresh beans, allowing coffee connoisseurs to get the convenience of pod-brewing and the pleasures of a good local roaster at the same time.

None can deny that companies like Nespresso and Keurig have done excellent jobs of offering up a variety of flavors and intensities in their pods. But no matter the amount of variety, consumers are ultimately constrained to what those companies deem worthy of inclusion. Capsulier blends coffee beans in the machine and vacuum-seals those grinds into the pods, meaning that consumers can blend whichever combinations of beans they most enjoy with the same efficiency as a normal pod-based coffee brewer.
