The conceptual Cabin Memory Hub has been designed as an architecturally inspired aftermarket computer solution that will infuse character into an otherwise simple piece of desktop equipment. The system consists of the mini cabin that allows USB drives to be positioned into the chimney-inspired port for transferring them to your computer or even onto the external HDD that the cabin sits on. The white aesthetic of the solutions makes them appear covered in snow to further enhance the cabin-inspired look.
The conceptual Cabin Memory Hub is the design work of the Homm Studio and draws attention to the correlation between USB hubs and mountain pass cabins. Both are focused on a transient protocol where people/files stay for a short while before moving on.
